The research of my lab focuses on the development, neurobiology and biological rhythms of parasitic helminths that impact human health and interests. We are currently working on the sensory biology and biological rhythms of the human blood flukeSchistosoma mansonito understand infection and host-parasite interactions.

Daily rhythms in gene expression of the human parasite Schistosoma mansoni.
Venom-allergen-like 12 transcripts reach the the body wall musculature and into the tubercles of the dorsal tegument of male Schistosoma mansoni. They show daily rhythms in abundance and the protein is predicted to interact with the host.
